About
Software plays an essential part in the efficient operation of modern production systems. While variability and complexity represent key challenges for cyber-physical production systems, software design in production systems is still a neglected topic. The SECPPS workshop series aims to promote modern software engineering solutions to the challenges of cyber-physical production systems and foster interdisciplinary discussion. Our workshop focuses on a constructive and open exchange process to guide industry-relevant research and to help transferring technological advances from research into industry. We welcome academic and industrial participants to come together to summarize existing work, identify new challenges, and discuss solution strategies. In a co-creative process, we would like to find ways to address emerging topics and bring modern software engineering into industrial usage. The workshop will combine invited talks with proposed talks and a discussion session.
This workshop edition is co-located with SE 2027.

Call for Abstract Submission
Next to invited talks, we welcome abstracts for talks in the broad area of software engineering for cyber-physical production systems. You are welcome to propose on-topic talks of maximum 20 minutes to present to the audience. To propose a talk, please send a short abstract (max. 1 page) to both organizers by mail (contact information is stated at the bottom of this page).
